I am super excited!! I know I’ve blogged about this before, but I am actually going to go to las vegas!!!! You all know that my god-daughter was born on October 21, 2008. Well she’s going to be baptized and they are making the plans. They are planning after February when we have taxes back. So we are going to have my parents or hubby’s parents keep the kids and we are going for 4 days.  We will leave on Thursday night and come home on Monday morning. And the baptism will be on Sunday. I am looking forward to it. I can’t wait!!! How much fun will it be? And we will be with Mike and Liz and they KNOW Vegas so we will totally have a blast!! As soon as we have definete dates I’ll let you all know… *YAY*

Well the weekend has arrived!! It’s a good thing!! I hate the week. Waking up is not my fortay at all, so anytime I can sleep in is a good deal!! LOL Weekend mean no school, but they also mean that my kids will be fighting more… I don’t know, it shouldn’t be too bad because my hubby is off this week. He called me tonight and said he was taking vacation tomorrow and he is scheduled off on Sunday… So that means he’s off all weekend!! YAY!! So I am happy about that. We won’t be doing too much here though. No major plans.  I would really like to do a little something, but as you all know with the stock market crashing like it did it’s been hitting the economey hard and it’s hitting us hard too. We have alot of stuff that is due and alot of stuff to pay and seems like never enough money to pay it. UGH!!

Anyhow… A friend of mine called me today to inform me that a friend from school had been in an accident. His obituary is in the paper here. The full one to be in there on Sunday. He was no drinking as alot of people may think, however he was not wearing a helmet. However, it’s a decision that *WE* as motorcycle riders make. It’s not a law, it’s a choice. There are people that wear helmets and STILL end up passing away from their injuries, so it really doesn’t make a HUGE difference in my opinion.

I want to take a vacation to the St. Martin villa rentals. I swear I need a vacation to get away from it all. They are so sweet and so homey looking. I could go there and hide away for a week!! It would be so nice!! How many of you want to come with me?

I am exhausted tonight, but in a good way I guess. I haven’t been sleeping well so that totally sucks, BUT I was BUSY today and that is why I am exhausted right now… So it’s all good. I got to do a photo shoot today of my good friend Jamie and her LOVELY daughter Miss I. Oh they were SOOOO much fun!! I couldn’t have asked for a better mother/daughter to shoot. They were very carefree and loving and it showed!! Here’s a couple of my FAVORITES, although I did love them all:

I loved the way they turned out.  I took over 40 of them and they are ALL in my top favs!! Jamie has a beautiful daughter and she’s beautifull so they were super easy to photo!! And she’s already gotten me some referrals from her shoot!! WOWZERS! I am super excited about that so I can’t wait to do a few more shoots. You can see all of the edits of Jamie’s shoot here. Hopefully in August I will get some more in!! I know I have a baby one coming for one of DH’s friends (she’s moving right now so she’s gotta wait until after her move in August) and then I have a Maternity one in August and I suppose before school starts I should wind my brother up and get his senior pictures done too. He needs the yearbook one in by Novemeber, but he really wants summer ones taken outside, so I think we have to get moving on that!! I’d like to do my kiddos one more time too before summer is over but with them not feeling well who knows… We’ll see.

Mariah is doing better today.  She didn’t take 60oz of liquid but she did take about 40oz and she did want Cheetos. So I went and got her those ones you give babies. The ones that turn to MUSH when you drool on them… LOL and she ate them. She liked them and she had about 7-8 of them… then her throat heart.

I think hubby and I have decided to take the trip for 2 and go to Las Vegas!! So we started looking at hotels in Las vegas. We also looked for some deals on planes and it looks like we might go come winter time!! I can’t wait. That will be a nice getaway!!

First an update on my kiddos since I know you all want to know!! Alex is pretty much good to go. He’s up and about, playing, driving me crazy, eating, and doing all the normal things of a 4 year old boy. His only difference is today he took a 20 minute nap. He never naps, so that was the only out of the norm thing for him. Mariah on the other hand is still having a really rough time. The hospital called to see how they were doing.  She suggested that if Mariah is not doing better tomorrow that I call the DR and or bring her back to the hospital for an IV. She’s not wantin to drink anything. I know she is not going to want to eat, but she HAS to drink. She’s not drinking. I am forcing her to drink SOME, but honestly I don’t think it is enough. She doesn’t appear dehydrated right now, but I also know that it can happen FAST and if she gets dehydrated she will feel worse then she already does. She is asking for her pain meds every 4 hours right now. I just asked her if they are helping when I give them to her and she is telling me NO. So I guess if things DON’T look up then I will be calling the DR tomorrow and they may have to change her pain meds and then maybe something for hydrating her. I feel so bad for her. And her brother is not helping because she wants to rest and he is all over bouncing and throwing things and ugh!!

So when hubby and I were in the Dells we went to a seminar for Blue Green Resorts. It’s NOT a time share. It’s much different then a time share. You buy a vacation package. It’s whatever you chose it to be. Say we chose the $15,000 package right now… You pay the $15,000 off like a loan. But the vacation package is lifetime. You have X amount of points to use every year on vacations. And each vacation is a different amount of points. You can save points, roll them over, or borrow against to get bigger or longer vacations. Some of them are all inclusive, some of them are just the hotel rooms. There is alot of things, but it’s overall an awesome idea. We want to do it but right now is just not a good time. So we told them that. Well they sent us a booklet in the mail the other day. It contains a gift certificate for a 2 night 3 day all inclusive at one of their resorts. This includes food, transportation once we arrive, AND our bar tap!! NICE!! There are 15 of their resorts this certificate is good at. One of them is of course in the Dells. However, they do have 3 places in Nevada, one of those is in Las Vegas and 2 in California. I told hubby we need to take this vacation for just us and go. It would be so much fun to even go away with him for just 3 days alone. So I was looking up flight deals online since we will obviously have to fly. We have no choice with the small time frame and if we do go to Las Vegas or to California. I don’t think it will happen anytime soon… In fact, it won’t happen until closer to fall, but I can’t wait to plan something… I think it will be a nice time!!

Alright, this exhausted mommy is off for the night. I got to head online to CBS and watch todays episode of the Bold and the Beauitful. I find it so much easier to catch the episode online later at night then to watch it on TV with commercials or even DVR it. If I DVR it I have to watch it where I DVR it… so I can watch it anywhere I want if I catch it on the computer… NICE!! I love it!!

Incrediably exhausted and worn out… but we are all home safe and sound!! Mariah got sick on the way home, I am not sure if that was too much car riding, too much junk food, not enough sleep or what… but she’s feeling better now. I am ready to lay down for a nap.  Alex is napping. Sparky was SUPER excited to see us and I was VERY excited to see him. I missed him a ton. I have a ton of pictures to go through and I will post some more. I am not going to bog down my blog with 1000’s of photos though so I will post just a few more of my favorites and a link to the album for you to see them all if you so chose! I am so glad to be home. I just have 100’s of emails and 10 loads of laundry and then life can go on to my regularly scheduled programing!! LOL
