I love home improvement projects… NOT! Well there always seems to be some going on in this house! We picked up some electrical supplies to wire up the garage. It had ONE outlet in the entire garage. Talk about annoying. While we were at it we added some additional lighting out there. It’s much brighter and much more effective now. I love it. I can actually see what is happening and you can plug things in while hubby is charging his power tools and other things. Far more effective!!

So my mother in law got a new laptop a few weeks back. She decided that she didn’t want to go wireless. I told her she NEEDED a wireless Linksys router like we had because she was going to want to have the freedom to sit on her chair with her laptop rather then the desk. She assured me this would not be the case. So I hooked everything up and I got her an actually mouse because WHO actually uses the useless touchpad on the laptop these days. Well she called yesterday and asked if I could get her a router so she could sit on her chair with her laptop. LOL I thought it was comical. This all coming from someone who was anti-computer just a few years ago!

It’s time to get ready for fall. The leaves should fall soon here. The kids are already back in school. We’ve done some prep work around the house. Sometimes it’s more work getting the house ready for the seasons then it takes for the season to pass, I swear!! We’ve gotten some humidifier filters, new furnace filters and started putting the patio furniture away. I am really dreading the thought of snow soon and it really makes me think that I need to SERIOUSLY find a way to convince not only my husband but entire family to move south or west and get away from this! You see, I could totally NOT move without ALL of my family, so I am really in a pickle!

So they make these things called Slingbox and they allow you to watch TV anywhere in the world. I am not sure how good this is really. I mean we have the internet and many people are addicted to that. I am hopelessly addicted to my iPhone and celebrity gossip… do I really need the reality TV everywhere I go? Okay wait… maybe it’s not such a bad idea… what do you guys think?

Do you think the celeb drug use has gone too far? When will Hollywood understand they are not invisable and that they are JUST as prone to things as other people. It’s so sad the number of deaths this year because of drugs and overdose, accidental or otherwise. Really things are dangerous. There is much more to life then drugs and if they MUST look cool they could resort to something like Dutch Master Cigars! I mean honestly Hollywood… How many people will DIE before you get a clue?

With summer winding down now you see less and less of the fad diets and weight loss pills but there are still alot of them circling around. I’ve read so much about things like the grapefruit diets and then excerising… I chose the ole fashion route to excerise. Of course not everyone has the option and ability. Celebrities are doing all sorts of things, they claim are personal trainers… and I do believe SOME of them are… but I wonder what the fad diets they are using REALLY are and if it has anything to do with their early deaths?

I think we have replaced the vacuum in our house about 600 times in the past 2 years. Not kidding! It would be nice to have a central vacuum system installed in the house and just need a hose and nosel attachment. I could be free from bags and belts! It would be so awesome! We would just need to maintain and not replace the darn things! I think this would be a nice investment for us. We are not planning to move or sell or home so it is certainly something that would get alot of use here!

I was looking for some dress shoes online the other day and I found some shoes that came in pretty neat styles. Naot shoes comes in a variety of colors and styles. They have a good sole on the bottom and they look very comfortable. I am thinking about ordering a pair to try. I need some comfortable shoes that are more dressy so that I can wear them with everything.

We got new cell phones the other day so we are shopping for some auto accessories for them. We need to get some car chargers and a cord to plug my phone into the stereo so I can listen to the iPod part of my phone through my stereo. I got an iPhone. I am loving the phone so far and it’s a great phone and the service has been awesome. Far better then the service we had before. It’s for sure a blessing for us. We haven’t had any problems that we have even had to call about!

I want a heart pendant necklace. I’ve always wanted one. I seen my mother wearing one and my aunt last week and realized this is something I don’t have. I need one. I think that just about everyone has one of these adorable pieces in their jewlery collections. I would love to be able to some day pass it down to my daughter, but in order to do that I need one first! LOL I think this is for sure going on my Christmas list!!
