It was one of those days… today I had some errands to run so I packed the kids in the car and we headed out. I don’t usually venture out into the world before 11am and today was no different. I do have Xavier and this week has only been a 1/2 week with him, but it makes me wonder, what the hell happened to my kids!! He’s the polietest little guy ever!! I can’t even begin to explain it. He says “Excuse Me” all the time in this cute innocent little voice. I just love it.

First on the adgenda was to stop at Wal-mart and get my brother a phone. He started his service and needed a cell phone (an At&t one) and since they sell the GO phones, it is cheaper then the none contract price and they work. So, we did that. I asked the guy in the department did the other Wal-marts have different phones then what they had since they only had 2 styles. He says no. Okay… My bro asks a question and he answers. Then he proceeds with “You might want to check the Wal-mart supercenters and see if they have more.” Are you kidding me?!?! Seriously!?!?! Is there a box on the applications at Wal-mart that says Check Yes or No. Are you stupid? Can you pretend if not? OMG!! In all my life… I JUST asked the question and he said NO. UGH! Where DO they find these people???

First a little rant… I am so tired of shitty ebayers. I’ve been doing business on ebay for over 5 years. I am tired of the newbies. I am tired of the old ebayers that are just shitty. It sucks. I buy something, I pay right away, they don’t ship for a week. Are you serious? UGH! Or I need to know how much shipping is and they won’t reply to emails or anything. It’s so annoying!! I don’t buy things off ebay for fun. I buy them because I need them. So I want to complete my transactions and get my items. It’s annoying when the seller can’t keep up their end of things. *end of rant*

So I found out that I can turn my blog into a book. There is a program called Blurb. You can turn your blog into a book. I think this is a wonderful idea. However, it’s taken me a LONG LONG time to do this. I had a font made with my handwritting. So I am using that. I am adding pictures in and doing a layout. It’s going to be a long process, but I really want to do it. Not that my blog i going anywhere anytime soon, but I do want to have it in book form for my kids to someday read. Of course they will have to be much older because I do have a little mouth on me, but none the less. I think they will  enjoy reading my thoughts, expecially in the posts regarding them.

TGIF!! I am so glad it’s the weekend. My hubby is off. I have no huge plans, but maybe I can get some scrapping done.  I have no picture appointments this weekend so I am planning to just relax. My friend Jenny is coming on Sunday with her kiddos and brother in laws girlfriend, Erica’s birthday is also Sunday so they are having a little get together on Sunday afternoon. We will check that out too. They are renting a hotel and swimming. So that should book Sunday up.

Do you understand that statement? Maybe I speak a forgein language? Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear… YOU ARE N-O-T CUTTING H-E-R HAIR! Did you get it that time? Every fucking time my mother in law comes over here this discussion comes up.  She wants to cut my daughter’s hair. I say no. We fight. Everyone leaves. I am the bitch. WTF?!?! Seriously, she’s MY kid!! I will decide what gets done with her hair. The meer fact that I do not braid it or put it up everyday or do something fancy EVERYDAY doesn’t mean that it needs to be CHOPPED off. She sees my daughter 4-5 days a month… today, for example, she comes over… She’s been in the pool all day. Anything that WAS done with her hair is no longer. It’s 6pm. So let’s chop it off. Her defense? “You have short hair.” UGH! I am also a GROWN woman…

Okay let me explain.  When I was younger, my mom cut my hair short. Bobs, short hair cuts. To this day it drives me CRAZY and pisses me off that I had “boy” haircuts as a kid. I am NOT doing that to my DAUGHTER! My MIL however doesn’t care… Again I hear “You have short hair.” Someone help!! I am going insane!! So I scream “WHATEVER!” and then she proceeds to ‘explain’ this wonderful idea of a haircut she has. She wants to layer everything, cut it up around her ears, give her bangs, basically shorter then mine… Do the words ‘boy cut’ come to mind? I say calmly “I do not want her having a boy hair cut.” and I get “You have short hair, and it’s a rather butch {boy} cut.” Oh fuck you lady! Your on my LAST nerve! All the while my loving supportive asshole of a husband is agreeing with his mother, and not listening to her wonderful idea of a haircut! She storms out the door to sit in the front yard, with my BIL, his girlfriend, my FIL, my brother and the kids. This leaves hubby and I in the house. I said “Were you listening to her bright idea of a haircut or just agreeing?” He promptly says “I wasn’t listening, I don’t care.” I reply (snippy) with “Of course you don’t care. It’s easier to make me look like the asshole. Would you listen for just one minute?” He replies “I said I don’t care. It’s Mariah’s hair.” I say “So you want her to look like a boy? Because that is what your mom wants to do.” He replies “If that is what Mariah wants then let her. It will grow back.” I reply “Mariah can’t visualize what it will look like. She doesn’t understand. She thinks it’s going to look like Erica’s (BIL’s girlfriend).” He says “It’s just hair!” I reply “You are such an asshole.” and storm off into the bedroom, where I proceed to sit and read a magazine for the next 30 minutes until everyone leaves.

He then wants me to come and look at haircuts on the internet of her. PLEASE! You wouldn’t give me the time of day when *I* wanted to talk about it, you aren’t getting my time now. I know some of you are thinking this is much to little to fight about and there are bigger things in the world, but you know what it’s not entirely about the hair (for those of you that read through that above – thanks for getting it). It’s about my Mother In Law period! She is always causing drama. She’s always getting her way. I love her I do. Don’t take that the wrong way. But I *hate* that she butts into our lives and thinks *she* needs to make the decisions for us. *I* and *I* alone will decide when and IF I cut my daughter’s hair. Mariah wants her hair short. I will let her. I have no problem with that, but it will be a cute GIRL cut.

I will take her to get her hair cut this week at Cost Cutters where I go. I should add, my mother in law is a barber/beautician in a different salon. *MUAH* Or maybe I should get a passport and take off out of the country!! UGH!!

Happy Birthday America!! Happy Fourth of July!! We don’t have any plans until tonight.  We are planning to head downtown to the fireworks and get some of the foods and drinks that are offered in the “Celebrate Americafest” that happens every year on the fourth downtown here. I am excited. This means I can get me a funnel cake. I so love those things!! They only have them at least types of celebrations… no shoppes actually carry them.

I got my laptop tray that I ordered. I must say that I love it! It is perfect! I couldn’t have spent the $23 on anything better!! It works wonders, plus it allows my laptop to BREATH so it isn’t so hot on my legs. I love it!! My next online purchase is for some custom picture framing. See the family photo that we had taken in the Dells, the old time photo, I can’t seem to find a frame and matting that I like for it. *sigh* So I’ve been searching online. Here’s the photo:

I am thinking I want like an off white matting with a black frame, maybe a black frame with a gold stripe accent… thoughts? The picture is actually a little more bronze then it shows up scanned. I am so undecided. I know this is a family photo I will cherish forever, despite my middle brother missing from the picture (brat!) so I want to frame it just right.

Anyhow… I was reading the news and I ran across a story that got me thinking. Did you all hear about the 17 year old boy that was decapitated at Six Flags? I am sure the family with attempt to sue Six Flags. I mean I am heart sorry for them that they lost their child, but come on!! This boy ignored signs, climbed not ONE but TWO fences to get into a Danger Zone/Do Not Enter/Authorized Personnel Only area… Did he not for one second think it was wrong? Did he not for one second wonder WHY those signs and fences were there? I could not image being one of the people that witnessed this either!! Can you imagine!! The poor people that were at Six Flags in GA that day. I feel sorry for them all, the family, the witness, the child. I do hope that I parent my children to understand that there are reasons for signs and reasons that you shouldn’t do things! I just don’t understand!!

How that for a title! Yup, I am all of those things… I don’t even know where to start. Let’s just say, if you don’t like bitchy posts, don’t read this one, because this is one of them!! Okay… here goes… First, I am hot… I can’t tell you why because my central air has been on for TWO days!! Yes, two days running NON-stop! Again this year I am having problems with it. I have no patience for this shit. I called them, naturally got the little on call guy. He knows nothing. If you remember last year we had them out 2-3 times a week. We had this problem where it blew out warm air. So they replaced every part in it, compressor, etc since it’s under warranty. Well it’s starting again this year. They need to replace the whole damn thing because I am TIRED of this!! I am fed up and I am steaming mad!! I won’t settle for anything less. So this gentleman has it in for him when he shows up at my door tomorrow. Mind you they didn’t give me a time either, just “morning” so if he wakes me up I’ll be nice and crabby and he’ll really get it! Maybe they’ll actually replace it. So I am hot! Problem 1.

I am crabby and pissed because it seems that the neighbor kids have a little issue. They are no longer allowed to come to my house and play. We haven’t been able to get ahold of their parents either because they haven’t been home all night. They picked the kids up after work and then they all left. The kids are 11 and 14… They are home alone during the day. They come to play with my kids. They are older, but since hubby knows their dad, I don’t mind. Well, today we had an incident. First off, they came over and I was in the shower. My kids are NOT to answer the door, but they did because “S” and “B” yelled to my kids that it was them. My kids are 7 and 4. They opened the door. Then they proceeded to go outside! I was fuming! So I sent “S” and “B” home and made my kids come in. About 2 hours later “S” and “B” came back. I allowed them to play. They wanted to play outside. I had to get some laundry done and vaccum so I was running outside and inside. Vaccum a room, run out and check, switch laundry, run out and check… my yard is fenced in and I figured it would be okay. Well Mariah comes in and tells me that “B” told Alex to pull his pants down. I am SO furious!!! I sent both “S” and “B” home and told them they couldn’t come back. I made Alex and Mariah come in. I don’t know anything more then that because I got upset now Mariah won’t tell me. She did say they just laughed and Alex pulled his pants back up, but none the less, I am still pissed. These kids are old enough to know better!! So we can’t get in touch with their parents, and believe me when I do, they are going to hear it. I don’t care!

Now it’s 10pm and I JUST got my kiddos to bed. They are hot too… There is a little bit of cool now from the central air and I got some fans going from the basement. UGH! Okay… I am off! *end of rant*

Are you freakin kidding me? They called me at 15 minutes to 10 about nothing. Actually they wanted to give me a life insurance quote. I might actually need one now lady. You’ve raised my blood pressure to a scary level and I think I might suffer some MAJOR health side effects now.

I am still trying to pack. I feel like I am never going to get done with it. I have the lists wrote for my FIL though. So I’ve made progress. Tomorrow I have to run and pick up the gas cards, run to the bank, and pick up my contacts… then finish up the packing and laundry… That is my day. My sister called. She’s planning a visit. That will be nice because I haven’t see her in a while, nor have I seen my nephews or neice in a while. I look forward to visiting with them. They are coming Next Monday, after we return!!

I installed Incredimail today again. I haven’t used that program in years. Frankly it wasn’t stable with Vista so I stayed away from it. Since I bought my new Dell Laptop and have Windows Vista I have to be careful. But I kept hearing rave reviews and people saying it was FINE with Vista. So I thought okay, I’ll try it. I contacted Incredimail and they said, yes it is. I had a million problems installing and it was a huge PITA but I got it all sorted and the support they offered was wonderful.  So I am glad I stuck it out. It’s running and OH SO PRETTY!! I love it!!

Oh BTW… My ex-host, the lovely, 3ix… has YET to cancel my account. They’ve emailed me to let me know that they won’t issue me a refund even though I am paid for 6 months and won’t use that service. It’s fine, I’ll take that up with my credit card company… but CANCEL the ACCOUNT already!! I don’t want anything more to do with them. They have the WORST customer service EVER!!! Okay now I have to put my kids BACK to bed!! UGH!

We officially have 2 days before we leave for vacation. I am trying not to stress out, so I am keeping myself nice and relaxed. I started the day at 10am!! My kids actually slept in until 10am!! Wasn’t that nice of them!! They need awards or something for being world’s greatest kids! I can tell you, it won’t happen very often, IF again! LOL So I got them up and got them dressed. We headed out. My BIL said he’d watch them for me while I headed for a few things. First stop was the nail salon. I wanted to get my nails done and I NEEDED a pedicure! So I relaxed while the wonderful Sam did her thing. I walked out with this wonderful pedicure and of course my usual… french manicure…

She did the little design on my big toe. I totally love it. She’s so awesome!! Really she is!! Shouldn’t be a suprise I’ve gone to the same place and had the same tech for 10 years! LOL After that I headed to Wal-mart (what a mad house that place is on Sundays *ugh*) and picked up some last minute things we need for vacation. I grabbed some travel size things of stuff like Q-tips, Deodarant, toothpaste… I will bring full size bottles of shampoo and things. We will be there a week and the travel sizes won’t cut it with 4 of us. I needed to grab a few SMALL rubbermaid containers that I am going to pack the kids handheld games in and the one for DVD’s those will fit under the seat in the truck… I grabbed 2 extra compact flash cards for my camera too. They were on sale and even though I will have my laptop and I can drop the pictures off the card onto my laptop I don’t want to take the chance of having a full one while we are out in the day and missing photo opps. I am trying to be as prepared as I possibly can with 2 children and an unorganized hubby. Oh did I mention that my chaotic family will be coming too!! Yup, my mom, dad and my brother. My middle brother has decided to stay home. I am pissed about this since it’s a family vacation and we put forth so much to try and go. He’s just giving up and staying home. He’s 17, there is no obligations why he CAN’T go!! He’s chosing not too. UGH! Seriously… this child has gotten on my last nerve… someday he’ll understand, he will!! Okay… time to switch laundry and start some packing!! I’m getting too excited! *YAY*

Let’s start with the good news… Hubby got a promotion at work. I am so happy! He will be changing crews, which means a schedule change, however, it will still be swing shift. I am just not sure when his on/off days will fll now. So we will have to see. I don’t have too many details yet because I only got to talk to him for a brief minute and he had to get back to work. So I am excited. Of course it IS a pay raise. That is always nice.

I headed out with the kids this morning back to Children’s Place to grab the rest of the summer clothes they need. Now they are all set and I am done for them for summer shopping. *YAY* I was looking at a vitamin and supplement store there for some sort of diet aid. I seen Phentermine. It looked like it might actually work and I considered giving it a try. I’ve been working my butt off at the gym, and I’ve gotten some results, but not the results I want in my thighs. I am so tired of working so hard and dieting and not getting any results. I think I need a little boost. Anyhow…

Now, my ugh… pitty… I am so tired of RAIN. Everyone is feeling it. It’s flooding everywhere. I know it. I know it sucks and we have to deal with it, but I am SO tired of it. It’s not flooded hear, yet, but the waterways are HIGH. It won’t be much longer. And we are due for rain on Saturday and Sunday. Much of the Dells is already flooded badly. So much for a grand vacation, huh? UGH!

And now, my ugh… RANT… I hate misbehaved children! Not that my children are angels, because none of them are, but dang! There are so many kids at the park with it being summer. I understand that but parents really should teach their children some manners. There was an 8-9 year old boy that almost lost his life today. I swear. He RAN my 4 year old over with his skateboard. Alex’s toe was gushing blood everywhere. I was so pissed. The kid didn’t say sorry, in fact he laughed. I got up from where I was sitting and said to the kid “Do you have any idea what you just did?” and you know what he said… he said “F*** You!” and took off. I swear if I could have caught him I would have rung his little neck… at the very least followed him home and told his parents what a disprespectful child they have!! UGH!

Those aren’t usually the words that you hear together, cept when your reading MY blog!! Let me explain. Today, I divorced my host. They plain out are the WORST ever!! I hosted with 3ix. I referred several people to them and I now feel AWFUL for doing so. Every 2-3 weeks I keep getting these ‘pop-ups’ which indicate my site is harboring a virus. People will stop visiting. I contact support and they tell me there is nothing, but ironically the pop-ups disappear… Yeah whatever!! Then I have my girl Nikki doing some script changes to my store and Zen Cart and she informs me that the cPanel has been giving her a wierd message all day. So I log in. Seems they’ve upgraded the cPanels and the Apache software. Okay, good move?!?! However, you need to take the PLACEHOLDER down so we can get to the cPanel. I contact support. They tell me there is no placeholder even though I have SEVERAL screenshots of it and again, not only I but several others are getting this. It MUST be my network and I should dump my computer and internet cache. And when that doesn’t work… I should go to another place and try to access my site… ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! So I explain that there IS a placeholder up and that she (the rep I am talking to) needs to get someone else… After arguing with her for 45 minutes, she disconnects the chat. I hate some choice words I would like to insert here, but I want to keep this PG… PG-13 at worst, so I will refrain… However, you know what I am thinking!! I contact BACK to Live Support and I get her AGAIN. GREAT, in fact perfect!! I can tell her exactly how I feel. And believe me I did. Within 1 hour the placeholder was gone. And within an hour of that I had a back up of my site and the divorce was FINAL!! In talking to my girl Blythe she recommended her host UCwebHOST. So I head over and find it will be a little more money a month, but so worth it!! The headache of 3ix being gone is worth much more! I am telling you!! So to those I have referred, I am sorry. I’ve learned my lesson. Today during my transfer to UCwebHOST I recieved about 6-8 emails saying they were “working” on the transfer and that it was “almost complete” and “sorry for the delay” even though the entire move took less then 40 minutes or so. I was suprised. They were MUCH more customer friendly and they kept updating me even when they had NOTHING new to tell me. I think I will be MUCH happier with them! I already am. And thanks Blythe for the referral… You know you RAWK!!

Now… My DS appeared even worse last night and he has officially eaten NOTHING in 3 days. I know the BULK of it is the reflux and we DO see the pediatrician on Monday and the pediatric GI soon after, but I am worried. I wanted to make sure the DR at least thought he looked okay and didn’t need anything via IV to make it through. He also starting complaining that his left ear hurt, so I thought… okay, let’s go. The ER doctor said his ears looked fine, however he does have a virus. That is likely making his reflux worse. He’s got some sores in his throat and mouth and a rash on his body. It lasts about 3-7 days and the rash comes 3-4 days in. So we roughly have another 3-4 days left. It is also accompied by a HIGH fever. Great. I hate fevers. I told the DR he was up crying screaming all night the night before and he hasn’t really slept either. So he gave him a “theraputic” dose of Motrin (being sure not to tell me what that was just documenting it on his papers) so he could get some relief. The instructions were just for the usual dose according to the bottle… so he was feeling better today after he slept all night… however he still napped today, which is SO not like him!! This child doesn’t nap!!

So while he napped I grabbed the Lean Green and began surfing the net. I haven’t had my celebrity fix. So I wanted to check out the latest. I see Jamie Lynn is being stalked *eye roll* and they are reporting false information about the Pitt/Jolie twins being born. I was shocked to see there were no reports of celebs in alcohol rehab or jail… although R Kelly has been charged in child pornography. That’s kinda interesting, although not really shocking LOL So I guess there was plenty to read and catch up on.

Lastly… as I blog tonight, I sit here and I can’t STOP thinking about it. One year ago today I recieved a phone call from a very good friend of mine, Lizz. You see about a year ago, shy of a few weeks, we were talking on Yahoo IM about her brother. He was in Iraq and was coming home. She was SO happy that he was DONE and was coming home. She was proud of him, but glad that he was going to be home SAFE. Then I get a call, just a few weeks later. I answer… “Bobbie…” “Yeah… OH MY GOD! What’s wrong!” I wanted to drop the phone, it was so surreal. It couldn’t be. She didn’t even say it. She probably won’t remember the conversation just like I do, but I do. I was babysitting. The mom was here to get the kids. I didn’t say bye to her, I rushed her out and waved that I would call her… as tears formed in my eyes, but I tried to stay calm and collective. I couldn’t lose it. My friend needed my support. As the days went on and the details poured in, we learned what a hero William was. What a hero William IS!! It still doesn’t seem like it’s real. Please as you go about your day today, and everyday, remember William… the HEROS that make our freedom possible. I love you Lizzard!! ((HUGS))

It’s storming out pretty bad now… I sent DH out for Drumsticks and a movie about 45 minutes ago… he must be slow churning my ice cream… MEN!
