Seems like all the Hollywood celebs are doing these FAD diets these days. They claim to have found the best fat burners. They’ve lost a ton of weight and they look wonderful. Nevermind the fact that they have a ton of money and can afford a personal trainer and a chef to make them the perfectly safe and wonderful meals they should be eating while dieting! Yeah I am sure NONE of that helps!

Do you think the celeb drug use has gone too far? When will Hollywood understand they are not invisable and that they are JUST as prone to things as other people. It’s so sad the number of deaths this year because of drugs and overdose, accidental or otherwise. Really things are dangerous. There is much more to life then drugs and if they MUST look cool they could resort to something like Dutch Master Cigars! I mean honestly Hollywood… How many people will DIE before you get a clue?

I love celeb gossip… I was watching E News and seen a little piece on Snoop, so I decided to look him up online and see what he’s been up too. Low and behold nothing to disasterous. LOL He is however, at it with the Brits. He’s been banned and wants back in the country. Rather then getting himself a top of the line immigration lawyer he’s decided to lend on the hands of David Beckham, Sir Paul McCartney and the Beatles clan. Nice job Snoop. That should work for sure! Apparently he had this same problem with Australia, but they’ve changed their minds and let him back in… so why not… it’s worked in the past. Should be interesting to see the outcome!

The Golden Globes are always an exciting awards cast to watch. It’s hyped up every year with lots of commercials, custom promotional products and celeb sitings. There always seems to be a story or 2 that catch the medias eye and those are the front page ones. This year the late Heath Ledger won the posthumous award for his role in “The Dark Knight”. This is without a doubt a reason to be in the media. He deserved this award and it’s really a tragety what happened. He is still mourned by many. He was a great actor. However, I was not impressed that the story of Brangelina dissing Ryan Seacrest made the newslines. Are you kidding me? I really don’t think this is something that NEARLY compares to the award the late Heath Ledger won. But that’s the media and all of the celeb gossip seekers out there!! What was your take on the Golden Globes? I must say… I faded in and out of this years cast… I wasn’t GLUED to it…

It’s been a long weekend here… We grabbed a few movies, one of them was Eagle Eye. I didn’t care for that. But the other movie was Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I thought it was pretty funny. I love the main characters in it. Marshall from How I Met Your Mother and Veronica Mars from Veronica Mars. They are such a good couple to play these characters!! And it was a great movie.  I loved the humor and the end was great.

I read a little Celeb Gossip… As always… it starts my day, like coffee starts most peoples. LOL I love Britney gossip! Well she was in the news so it was great! But it was GOOD news… Her brother was married on New Year’s Eve in a private ceremony. How wonderful for the family. Honestly, I am glad to see the positive. I really am! Miley Cyrus was also in the news. There is something about child stars I tell you. She got her learners permit to drive.  Her car… her mom’s OLD porsche. Her dream is for her 16th birthday to get a new car. Are you kidding me? I have no idea WHAT kid LEARNS to drive in a porsche?!?!? You can read here. She can pop her Samsonite luggage in the truck and take off to her next destination. I can’t believe she would even WANT another car… a porsche!! Okay, nevermind!!

How many of these do you by? I’ve seen so many of the Celebs fad diets on the cover of OK! Magazine, People, etc and I am beginning to wonder how many of them actually are legite. How many of them really work and how many of them are just a lie and the celebs really are just working out and cutting back. Some of the diets include a hard workout and some include diet pills, like Fentraphen. I personally have dealt with a weight loss journey. It took me a little better then 6 months to lose 26 pounds. I was on a strict diet and worked out at least 3 times a week. I think that it is possible for you to lose more then that in a shorter time, but is it healthy? I would have to question that. I know my doctors questioned the loss and they were concerned because it was fast. I don’t think it was that fast. But that is because I was going through the dieting and the excersing and what not… Anyone else have input?

Okay, having that out of the way let’s talk about other stuff shall we. LOL I am going to right here admit that I purchased Britney Spears new album Circus. And guess what… I love it. I am so glad she is still making music. I am sure there are a million people that wish she’d just burry herself, but I think she’s talented and had a hard time like everyone else and I am GLAD to see her go on!! GO BRITNEY! I can’t wait to see what’s next for her!!

I am looking at some unlocked cell phones. My brother decided to throw his phone the other day and it’s now got a cracked display. The advantage of having an unlocked phone is that no matter what carrier you change to, you can keep your phone. I think this is a great idea expecially if you are buying a much more expensive phone then the cheap “free” phone some comapnies offer.

Okay, well it’s time to climb into my pj’s. It’s freezing here. The snow keeps falling and it’s making it colder and colder and it’s not helping me to stay warm that’s for sure! So I am going to cuddle up in my pj’s with the fireplace on and try to warm up some. It seems to get colder when the night time comes even though the heat is still at the same temp. UGH! You all know how much I love celeb gossip. Well I love celeb babies too!! hehe I was looking forward to FINALLY hearing news of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s baby. She was 2 weeks overdue so it’s no wonder that it took a long time for us to hear the baby news. None the less, the baby has finally arrived. Pete and Ashlee welcomed a son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, who weighed weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long. What a perfect size baby!! And for being 2 weeks over due that really isn’t a HUGE baby like some over due babies are!! They exlain the name here. I didn’t think that the name was odd at all, but that is me. I looked all over the net for some baby pictures though and couldn’t find any. I was hoping to find a cute picture of him, as I envisioned him in a little green alligator sleeper and hat. LOL Maybe we’ll get some baby photos soon!! Perhaps People or someone has exclusive photos for the next cover *giggles* One can hope!!

As the boredom of the day strikes me I surf the net. I often fi, mind myself reading all kinds of celebrity gossip and news about celebs. I don’t know why I am so “star” struck but I am. Not new to me or to most of my readers is the news of Clay Aiken. I think he’s an incredible person and this news doesn’t change that at all. I am hoping that the rest of the world is as open minded as the people that surround him. The news about Heather Locklear did shock me however. I didn’t expect her to check out of rehab and when she did I figured things wouldn’t be good. However, this is just “weird” I guess mostly because she does have a support system. Who knows. That mug shot surely is a beauty though!! I also read about Janet Jackson. I am wondering what is going on with her. Still nothing released on what is going on!! I hope she’s okay and it’s something minor.

Anyhow… I’m battling some migraines again. I have no idea why, but they seemly have gotten worse. I’ve called the neurologist and they’ve instructed me to take some different meds in a different order so we will  see if that helps. I haven’t changed anything else (other then my stress has increased) so I don’t know what else I could possibly do. These have gotten bad though. I never got the nausea with them before. I have been lately though and it’s bad. Mariah had a 1/2 day of school today so I had to get her from school at noon and then run to Wal-mart and pick up pictures and a new micro sd card. I needed one for my phone. I need to be able to store windows documents and things on there… and since they had a special on them, I picked up 2. They come with adapters so I can plug them right up to the computer to sync them. That makes life easy!!

Okay well I am making a turkey and potatoes and other goodies for dinner… time to getting peeling and what not. Later bloggers!!

It’s already Monday! It’s blah here. I had a baby shower this weekend for Liz.  That was fun. I am glad it’s over though.  Alot of planning and stuff and you always wonder if everything will  go right.  So I am glad that everything went off without a problem and everything was great. It wasn’t a bad day. It was a good turn out and she got some CUTE stuff for the baby. Anyhow… I am trying to get back into the swing of the week today. Alex had school again. He seemed to enjoy it.  So that was nice. Mariah is in school also.  She is loving it. I knew she would.  She always has.  Last night hubby cleaned their rooms. When I say cleaned I mean cleaned. He came out of eat room with 2 garbage bags FULL of stuff that was junk they no longer needed.  Those kids are pack rats!! Sheesh! Anyhow…

I am beginning to get some spreadsheets organized for my photography business. I think I need to look into some budget software. Something to help me organize the spreadsheets better. I can’t seem to do it for the life of me and I know come tax time I am going to need the information. UGH! Totally sucks.

We watched the movie What Happens In Vegas last night with Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher. It was a good movie. A romantic and silly comedy.  I loved it. I will definetly be buying this movie. I would watch it again!! Love a good romantic comedy and it ended JUST how I would have wanted it too. Hehe… I won’t say anything more, other then WATCH IT if you haven’t.

Okay well I am off to rest some. I am starting to get sick and it’s totally kicking my butt! UGH! Hubby’s on nights the next few days so I have to prepare myself for that too. FUN!!
