So my Mother-In-Law is clearly doing her Christmas shopping already… She sent me an email this morning saying, “Is M into Barbies are do you have any ideas for gifts for her?” Oh boy!! Seriously I am not even thinking about Christmas shopping yet. I know that it is only like 1 1/2 months away but really I am NOT thinking about it. I am so behind this year and I am not looking forward to starting my shopping, nor am I looking forward to the holiday… sigh!! However I am looking forward to Thanksgiving… mmmmm I love eating till I pass out!!

So last night hubby and I wanted to watch some season TV of a show called Weeds, that was on Showtime. We have some OLD episodes to catch up on so we went to Netflix online. The only problem is who wants to watch that on your computer screen when you are used to watching things on a 42″ TV. So I got an HDMI cable and hooked my laptop up to the TV. Let me tell you, this was the COOLEST trick I’ve ever seen!! Not only was the quality good, but it worked amazing and I was able to use my wireless mouse to just navigate the page to the next episode. It worked so well… where has this been all my life!!

It’s Sunday. That means it’s a day of relaxation and football in our house. We love watching football. We went looking at some new plasma tvs this week. I would love to get a bigger tv. We have a 42 inch TV in the living room, but it could of course always be bigger. Nothing beats a bigger tv when you are watching the game on tv. Seriously!! What is everyone else up to on Sunday??

The basement project is coming along well. There is a bathroom down there, along with the main rec room, and an office. The hunt for office furniture is now on. I want a nice set that will be completely manageable for everything. I am sick of these file boxes EVERYWHERE so that is something that is a definite that I am looking at.  We have a wireless printer for the computers so a printer stand would be nice and a desk for sure. Not sure what else I need. Thoughts?

My husband and his TV! We just got a plasma TV for the bedroom. I love the fact that they are so sleek and thin and hang on the wall and they really take up alot less room then they used too. It’s nice. I am on the hunt today for plasma mounts and which would work better. I need to get one soon because right now we have it on the dresser on the stand that came with it, but I really want to get it on the wall for the full “space saving” benefit of having that type of TV!

Seems like all the Hollywood celebs are doing these FAD diets these days. They claim to have found the best fat burners. They’ve lost a ton of weight and they look wonderful. Nevermind the fact that they have a ton of money and can afford a personal trainer and a chef to make them the perfectly safe and wonderful meals they should be eating while dieting! Yeah I am sure NONE of that helps!

It’s the time of year when I love to redecorate the house. I love to change things up for the fall season. We’ve been looking into a new living room set for quite a while, but just haven’t made a decision. One reason why is because the fabrics on them are so iffy. I keep getting a set and then I can’t get it to stay looking nice and new and clean and it annoys me. I really would like a new desk too. Hertz furniture has a large selection of classroom furniture that is really unique. Tons of options there!! I need to make some decisions.

I am a huge fan of cosmetic dentistry. I have had cosmetic work done for myself. It’s more of a self healing thing and not that people NEED it, but you tend to want it. There are probably a large number of people that feel the same way. There is a Plano cosmetic dentist I was looking at tonight. The before and afters are amazing. You can have the perfect smile with a few small appointments. Brighter, whiter teeth and repairs to chipped teeth from damages years ago. All to make your smile prettier.

I love home improvement projects… NOT! Well there always seems to be some going on in this house! We picked up some electrical supplies to wire up the garage. It had ONE outlet in the entire garage. Talk about annoying. While we were at it we added some additional lighting out there. It’s much brighter and much more effective now. I love it. I can actually see what is happening and you can plug things in while hubby is charging his power tools and other things. Far more effective!!

So the vacation I was thinking on, not probably going to happen. But there is better news to report. We are renewing our vows. We would like to do so on a nice beach some place. I am looking at some myrtle beach hotel options right now. They are beautiful and if we go in a time were it’s not too warm there, it just might be a great time. If we wait until the summer months, it might be too hot to enjoy. What are your favorite beaches? Any suggestions?
