All About Your Health!

April 29th, 2009 by BlogRmom

There are some things people love talking about and some things people HATE talking about. Did you ever notice that? I can start a conversation pretty quickly with a complete stranger. I can also get my friends out the complete most odd conversations they have ever been in with a few words. Start talking about your health, or their health, or health related things in general. People will run from the situation at the very first chance they have. Even further more, talk about the all famous Opera and Dr Oz’s colon cleanse and you will soon be talking to yourself. I know, it’s a never fail. Next time you want to be left alone, just pop in and start talking about it. PROMISE, it works like a CHARM!!

Health Care

April 28th, 2009 by BlogRmom

There are many people is the United States with no health care. I think this is really sad. Particularly because we DO have both state and federal taxes in MOST of the 50 states. I mean there are places like Canada that care about there residents and EVERYONE has health coverage and the SAME health coverage. I really get upset that some people are treated differently because they have private insurance versus medicaid or medicare. I have private insurance, but that is not to say my situation might someday change. There are many alternatives out there, including the Blue Advantage. I used to work for a company that sold insurance. I think it’s pretty universal, but none the less. You can’t afford to be without it, that’s for sure!!

Spring? Summer?

April 28th, 2009 by BlogRmom

I’ll take any warm weather at this point. I really just want out of this house. I have cabin fever and it’s not looking good. I want out of my 4 walls. Even to look at another 4 walls would be fine. HA. I would really love to go rv camping again this summer. The kids LOVED that last year and it was a blast for us too. We love camping and everything that goes along with it. I just need some warm weather… I hope it comes soon! My forecast is not showing anything above 58 degrees for at least the next 10 days. *sigh* and I look EVERYDAY!!

Home Again!!

April 27th, 2009 by BlogRmom

I am finally home from my Las Vegas vacation! I seen so much while I was there. It was great. I seen a ton of Las Vegas hotels, casinos, the strip, the Fremont Street experience, and so much more. It was great. I loved it all. It was amazing. I am so glad to be home though. I missed my family everyday that I was gone. The weather there was amazing and while I am totally missing that, I am so glad to be home in my native land. Nothing compares to being in your own home, your own bed, snuggling with your kiddos and being held so close by your loving hubby. It’s great to be home… Oh yeah and I totally missed my furbaby too!! But the week long party WAS a blast. I totally love Vegas and I will be back!!

Vacation

April 6th, 2009 by BlogRmom

Maybe I should route my vacation to Las Vegas a little longer and stop in California?! I was looking at the Anaheim California hotel. What a lovely place. I’ve always wanted to see California too and I’ve wanted to see the ocean so maybe this would be a great time to visit both places! I am sure I would exhaust myself, so much to see and do, but I want to live it all up!! Why not, we only live once, right?!?!

I love Sprint!

April 6th, 2009 by BlogRmom

My cell phone company is Sprint. They are amazing. I have a plan that is out of this world. Of course it is grandfathered because we have been with them so long, but they are wonderful. They are adding new cell towers and increasing our coverage and still we haven’t been made to pay more. We are so lucky to have the wonderful coverage we do. We have no dropped calls, we never even have gotten a home phone yet. I know I have referred a few friends over to Sprint. And I will continue too. I love my service!!

Moving?

April 6th, 2009 by BlogRmom

Have any of you seen those moving pods? You can also use them for storage. They are so cool. Whoever thought out this idea was a genius! I bet the creator is sitting on millions!!!!! You can put everything in then give them a call and they can move them for you. Same thing with storage. I’ve seen alot of people in my area use these things. I can’t believe how popular they are, but then again, it really is a wonderful idea!!

Laundry

April 6th, 2009 by BlogRmom

Oh the art of laundry! Has anyone mastered this? I mean really? It seems like something magical happens in my laundry hamper everyday. You put clothes in it, close it, and they multiply. I am not kidding!! I swear I do laundry everyday and it never fails, there is still a full load all the time, like I’ve never touched it. I wash, dry, fold. Sometimes there is even the mystery load left in the dryer. I don’t get it. Anyone else have magical laundry or am I the only one?

Hobbies

April 6th, 2009 by BlogRmom

I have so many hobbies. I am sure most of my readers feel the same way. I am an avid scrapbooker, both paper and digital.  I also LOVE making my own cards for the holidays. My family loves recieving them every year. A big part of that is my rubber stamps. It’s crazy the amount of them I have collected over the years. I try not to think of myself as one of those people is who crazy obssessive with collecting things, but I would certainly look at this HUGE box and say, “I have a problem.” LOL I can’t seem to stop buying them, even if I am only planning on using them once ot twice. Eek!
