I guess the dispute with the cable company and FOX has finally ended. FOX is back on the cable station and I could not be happier. Finally I can watch all my shows without the hassle of an antenna. It’s such a nightmare and it doesn’t come in all that clear. UGH! I am happy it’s back though. Relaxing and enjoying the day. It’s raining AGAIN!!!! I hate the rain. The kiddos had a VERY nice day though for trick or treating so I guess I really can’t complain about the crappy days that followed. It was in the mid 50′s and they were able to go out without being all bundled up. They had a blast and got way too much candy. Of course now all I hear is “Mom, can we have some candy?” UGH! It’s annoying, but on the other hand I am getting a few extra chores out of them… I am bribing them with the candy for small chores!!!! HAHAHA!! Smart momma!! I feel like I am making a linear motion on my “to do” list. I am not getting anything off the top of the list and nothing seems to be added, however, I seem to be busy ALLL the time. I don’t get it. Certainly no fun!!

She’s being induced!! Liz is being induced on Tuesday. I will be there!! I am so excited I can’t wait. She’s almost done. We have today and tomorrow. Tomorrow night she is being admitted into the hospital and Tuesday morning they will start. I got her some baby clothes as a gift. Of course all pink. I am so excited to finally be able to meet Miss Alivia. It feels like we have been waiting forever!! Please take a minute or two and say a prayer that the labor goes quick and we have a healthy happy baby girl on Tuesday!!

Today we are having a fottball party at the house. I made a ton of yummy food for the party. I made cupcakes, taco dip, jalapeno poppers (homemade), sausage and cheese sticks, bean dip, ham rolls, chips and soda. I swear after this I will need some sort of weight loss product. The gym alone is NOT going to cut it. LOL I love these parties, but I always always over eat. Nothing other then that planned for our day. I am sure once the game is over hubby will return to playing Guitar Hero. I swear he hasn’t put the guitar down in a week!!

UGH! I know nothing about the TV’s and how to hook up all the junk that goes with them… But my hubby is pretty knowledgable on it all. So we had to go out and get some stuff for the TV. You see we have an HDTV so it’s all ready for the digital change come February 2009, however, recently our cable company dropped the Local startion fox 11. So we no longer get it. So we had to get an antenna to get it locally. So he redid everything. He needed a Cat5e patch cable, an antenna and an HD cord. So we headed out to get them. The TV is happy again… as is the husband!!

I’ve totally been slacking at the gym on my workouts… Its bad. I go there and I do the machines. I do the entire set… and rather then going up front to do the elliptical or the treadmill for cardio I sit around in the back and talk. I need to get the cardio in. I have been horrible. I am just not feeling in the mood to go go go like I used to though. Maybe I need to start with cardio again. I don’t know. I just feel like I get a better muscle workout when I do that FIRST and my cardio after. But it’s so easy to get carried away talking. I have a horrible case of working out my JAW!! Any advise?

I can’t believe it’s Friday already!! Well I guess I can. I mean it does seem like the week has flew by though.  I really don’t like the weekends my husband has to work, this is one of them. Sigh! Well I guess I will get over it. I have a few online chores to finish up and I plan to get some  photos. I want to have the kids decorate up some picture frames for me. I am going to frame their new fall pictures and put them in their rooms. I think that will keep them busy this weekend. Hopefully out of my hair!! Other then that I really have no plans here… Just another lazy weekend in paradise!! FUN FUN!!

My head is so in the clouds today. I have no idea why. Last night hubby and I went out. It was a nice night. We went to the gym first, as always on Wednesday nights. We then came home and showered. My FIL was generious enough to take the kids. He took them to eat and watched them for us. He brought them home about 7pm and gave them bathes and got them in bed. They had school today. Meanwhile hubby and I went to dinner at Olive Garden. We haven’t eaten their in forever. It was so yummy. Then we headed out to see a movie. We chose to see My Best Friend’s Girl. It was a good movie!! I loved it. I adore Kate Hudson. She’s so beautiful!! It was a good movie… romantic comedy!! Another one that I will buy!! The night ended around 11:00pm. Late, but it was nice. Hubby let me sleep in this morning while he took the kids to school. What a guy!!

Now I am sitting here trying to helplessly start my day. Unfortunatly it’s not working. I was just talking on the phone with Liz. Today was the day her and Mike where planning to get married. They ended up pregnant with their beautiful daughter Alivia who is due anyday. She really wanted the daye 10-9-08… get it? We were talking all about how at this time last year we were talking about all the wedding plans, how we were all supposed to be in Las Vegas right now. Her dad runs a chain of reno hotels so we were all planning to live it up. While they are originally from out there this would be Travis’ and I’s first time out there… so we were super excited. We were planning to leave the kids here with my mom for like a week. But the plans are still on, just delayed a little.  Looks like it might be summer time and we will be going there, after their baby is born and a couple months old… She will fly out with us… Only because Liz has alot of family out there and they will watch the baby so we can still all go out and have a good time!!

Anyway… enough reminising!! I am off to start my day…

It’s a pretty blah sunday here. I am not planning to do much. I did a load of laundry and finished up some online duties that I had. I am pretty tired this week. I did so much!! On Wednesday I had to run to the mall. Alex needed a couple new pairs of jeans and I love the way the ones from The Children’s Place fit him. So I went there. They are always 2 pairs for $22 so that is nice. Then I headed down to Old Navy. They have 50% off all the clearance stuff so we scored a TON of shirts for less then $20.00. That was a deal made in heaven!! I also needed to stop by the Proactive acne booth. I love their on the spot treatment. It works great for when I do happen to get a blemish. Takes it away pretty quickly. So I bought a tube of that and we were on our way. The wednesday night we went to the gym. Thursday was an off night and I caught up on laundry. Friday Travis was home in the morning and we had a lot of errands to run and bills to pay so we did that. We also headed to the gym. Travis headed to work and the kids and I stayed in… it was pretty cold Friday. I put them to bed and did a few scrap pages. Then went to bed… Saturday I had a photo session and then when Travis woke we went and did some family pictures. I took them with the remote. They turned out nice. I am happy with them. I want a few more though… Now it’s sunday… The game is on. I will probably watch it, but I am just exhausted. I feel like I need to just lay on the couch and sleep!! LOL So since the kids are at their uncles visiting him… I think that is JUST what I am going to do… Later bloggers!!

It’s October. It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month!! I’ve put up my Breast Cancer Awareness layout and went PINK for October. I urge all of my readers to take this month, and EVERY month, serious and hug your boobies!! Do you checks!! This is something that is very treatable if it’s detected early. Let me share a few very eye opening statistics with you: Aside from non-melanoma skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women. Breast cancer is the number one cause of cancer death in Hispanic women. It is the second most common cause of cancer death in white, black, Asian/Pacific Islander, and American Indian/Alaska Native women. In 2004 (the most recent year numbers are available), 186,772 women and 1,815 men were diagnosed with breast cancer – 40,954 women and 362 men died from breast cancer. It was The 6 highest cause of death in woman!! Statistics taken from here.

This is so heartbreaking. I am not saying that we can stop this 100% but I whole heartly believe we can reduce these numbers by early detection and self exams. I personally do mine, and I do them EVERY month not just in October… I encourage everyone else to do the same.
