Well it’s a complete lazy and relaxing Sunday. More rain here this morning. It has stopped but it’s cloudy overcast now and kinda breezy. We headed to the Gym this morning and worked out. I haven’t been there in a while so it was definetly a shock to get back into it. I’ve been laying low since we got back from vacation and obviously didn’t go when we were on vacation…Â So it’s been a couple weeks.
Last night we watched Fool’s Gold. It was a good movie. I thought it was so sappy in the end!! My kinda movie, but I totally adore Kate Hudson so that might have made me a little biased too. Matthew McConaughey played her husband (ex-husband) in the movie. It started off basically as them getting a divorce, but they went on this quest for “fools gold” and they end up wanting to be remarried in the end of the movie. So it was pretty much a romance kinda movie.
Today is my SIXTH wedding anniversary. AWWWW! So I am going to list the TOP six reasons why I love my hubby so madly… ready? This is mushy:
1. I love the feeling I get when he touches me.
2. I love the feeling I get when he looks in my eyes.
3. I love the goosebumps I get when I hear his voice.
4. I love how when he’s around, nothing else matters.
5. I love that he takes care of us and protects us.
6. I love that I fall more in love with him each day.
Okay and with that, I am headed off to eat my dinner… I was going to say lunch since I haven’t eaten that yet, but i just realized the TIME is almost 5pm… so I guess that means it’s my dinner huh? Oh yes, and I can’t forget… a link for you for today… Check out herbal acne treatment.

For the last 2-3 days my anxiety has been super bad. I have no idea why, but it’s been really bad. I’ve thought on so many things. I’ve pondered so many thoughts. It could frankly be the time of the year. See alot of events are happening now. We just had vacation, the kids both have surgery coming up, tomorrow is my wedding anniversary (however this always reminds me that my uncle isn’t hear anymore too so it’s bittersweet), and it’s summer. So I don’t know if it’s just the combo of all of that happening right now or if I should go into the doctor and see if my meds should be increased. I haven’t needed them increased in a VERY long time. I am actually afraid to increase the morning med because in the past it’s made me a little jittery and unable to sleep… and I don’t need any help with not being able to sleep!!
It’s rainy here AGAIN. Deary and cloudy… Looks blah outside. I was hoping to be able to go for a little motorcycle ride with hubby, but it’s not going to happen. It’s not supposed to let up all weekend. BLAH! And he’s back to work on Monday too… go figure… So I guess it’s a weekend in the house with more movies. Right now in the background is 10,000 BC right now. It’s not my kind of movie so you can see I am not watching it. I don’t mind… Thankfully the laptop is here to keep me busy.
Speaking of laptop, I’ve been sitting in the recliner with it alot lately and it’s not really the BEST set up. I need a place for my mouse. The recliner has these huge air rests and although I use them for the mouse it slides and the kids climb. So today I finally ordered myself a little laptop tray:

It’s made by HP. I am hoping it works out nicely. I will only be out $.97 shipping if it doesn’t. I can return it to Wal-mart. So I guess I will give it a whirl. I will try anything that MIGHT work and it was pretty reasonably priced too. I was looking for some sort of TV tray thing that would slide under the chair, but hubby made a valid point (for once) and said that wouldn’t work because I put the foot part up about 90% of the time… which is true… so… I guess I was back to rehunting. I found some other awesome trays, but I am not in the market to pay $80+ for a little tray when I *could* sit at the desk… LOL Okay bloggers, that’s all I have for today!! I hope your weekend is going FAB!! And here’s todays link for you: golf bags. See you tomorrow bloggers!

It’s really dreary here today. It’s still very hot and muggy though. In the high 80′s and HUMID! My Central Air is WORKING!! They came yesterday afternoon. It’s a cool 71 degrees in here now. MUCH more tolerable. So I am inside looking out. I had the usual duties today, making some breakfast, cleaning up a bit, making beds, and then I jumped online to see what was up here. Nothing much… Reads emails… blah blah boring… Yup… So I went ahead and did some Celeb research because I needed something to stimulate my brain!!
Looks like Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were in court again about custody. I am glad to see things on the upswing. She was granted an overnight visit with her sons. Perfect!! I do think she is getting the help that she needs and I do think it is important that she gets to have some time with her children. It’s important for any child. Although, she HAS to prove she is stable. I think she is doing that. So I am glad to see this and hope it doesn’t prove to be a mess like the last overnight visit.
Another thing I am looking forward too is the return of 90210. I was SO sad when the show was canceled. I literally cried on the last epiosde. I am not kidding you. Looks like the CW is picking it up. I am glad to see some of the old characters are returning, but bummed that Luke Perry is not. I do think it would be cool to have all the original characters on board however, I know that will never happen. But hey, a girl can hope, right? Look what happened with New Kids on the Block… hehe
Lastly, I am a JUNKIE for American Idol… I was reading that Blake Lewis (you know the Beat Boxer from last season) has parted ways from Arista Records. I am sad about that. He sold 300,000 records and he is happy about that, but I really think he could do so much more. He is a great artist. I don’t know why they chose not to renew his contract, apparently that wasn’t enough money for them, but I am sure someone will sign him. He’s got a talent with the Beat Boxing that no one else had.
Alright, time to figure out what is for dinner tonight and start making it. I went and registered my husband’s motorcycle today. He’ll be excited about that. So maybe this weekend (pending no rain) we can take a ride. My brother is thinking of coming over tonight, so I am sure if he does he will babysit for a little while. Oh man… maybe I should order out for dinner… I hate cooking and I really don’t want to cook!! The dreaded DINNER!! UGH! Oh yes, and your link of the day: medical devices. See you later bloggers!

Oh yes… Some Celeb Gossip… I know that this isn’t NEW news since baby was born on June 19th however, I just was reading the complete and ACCURATE readings of the details. I have to say, they pulled this off so well. You may say they are young to be parents, with Jamie Lynn being 17 and Casey being 19 but I think they have things very together. They were able to FAKE the exit from the hospital and get Jamie Lynn and little Maddie Briann home without the press and paparazzi. It worked out successfully. I have to say, I think they are young, but they are very much on track. I think they will be wonderful parents. I do adore the name, which Jamie Lynn picked from her favorite book character. How cool. It isn’t your typical WILD and CRAZY celeb baby name.

How that for a title! Yup, I am all of those things… I don’t even know where to start. Let’s just say, if you don’t like bitchy posts, don’t read this one, because this is one of them!! Okay… here goes… First, I am hot… I can’t tell you why because my central air has been on for TWO days!! Yes, two days running NON-stop! Again this year I am having problems with it. I have no patience for this shit. I called them, naturally got the little on call guy. He knows nothing. If you remember last year we had them out 2-3 times a week. We had this problem where it blew out warm air. So they replaced every part in it, compressor, etc since it’s under warranty. Well it’s starting again this year. They need to replace the whole damn thing because I am TIRED of this!! I am fed up and I am steaming mad!! I won’t settle for anything less. So this gentleman has it in for him when he shows up at my door tomorrow. Mind you they didn’t give me a time either, just “morning” so if he wakes me up I’ll be nice and crabby and he’ll really get it! Maybe they’ll actually replace it. So I am hot! Problem 1.
I am crabby and pissed because it seems that the neighbor kids have a little issue. They are no longer allowed to come to my house and play. We haven’t been able to get ahold of their parents either because they haven’t been home all night. They picked the kids up after work and then they all left. The kids are 11 and 14… They are home alone during the day. They come to play with my kids. They are older, but since hubby knows their dad, I don’t mind. Well, today we had an incident. First off, they came over and I was in the shower. My kids are NOT to answer the door, but they did because “S” and “B” yelled to my kids that it was them. My kids are 7 and 4. They opened the door. Then they proceeded to go outside! I was fuming! So I sent “S” and “B” home and made my kids come in. About 2 hours later “S” and “B” came back. I allowed them to play. They wanted to play outside. I had to get some laundry done and vaccum so I was running outside and inside. Vaccum a room, run out and check, switch laundry, run out and check… my yard is fenced in and I figured it would be okay. Well Mariah comes in and tells me that “B” told Alex to pull his pants down. I am SO furious!!! I sent both “S” and “B” home and told them they couldn’t come back. I made Alex and Mariah come in. I don’t know anything more then that because I got upset now Mariah won’t tell me. She did say they just laughed and Alex pulled his pants back up, but none the less, I am still pissed. These kids are old enough to know better!! So we can’t get in touch with their parents, and believe me when I do, they are going to hear it. I don’t care!
Now it’s 10pm and I JUST got my kiddos to bed. They are hot too… There is a little bit of cool now from the central air and I got some fans going from the basement. UGH! Okay… I am off! *end of rant*
Here’s a link for you for today: Check out sexy shoes.

Well I took BOTH of the kids to the ENT doctor yesterday. They had the appointments scheduled and I was eager to get them in. I wasn’t eager to hear the words that came out of his mouth. First, Alex has already had 1 set of ear tubes, so we have a standing relationship with this doctor and he’s a very nice guy. I totally expected to wlk in there today and hear that he would like Alex to have another set of ear tubes. Let’s just say Alex has had ALOT of ear infections since he lost his last set of tubes. And being he’s allergic to penicillin I didn’t honestly think we’d walk out without the recommendation. So we talk about Alex and he has a hearing test. He did fairly well on it. The left ear ws not as great as they would have liked, but it was okay… So he recommended not only another set of ear tubes, but also an Adenoidectomy for Alex. He’s had too many ear infections and I am concerned that he may start to suffer hearing loss from them. *sigh* so I want to get things under control. Next up was Mariah. I guess that was the shocker for me. I wasn’t prepared to hear what came next. He recommended a Tonsillectomy for her. Now this one can be waited on however, we have to consider JUST last year for her. JUST last winter she missed 8 days of school because of strep throat. All positive cultures right away. The school actually asked us to see a doctor about it, but I mentioned it to her pediatrician, who also thought it was way too many times… She had it 8 times last winter. She had it 6 times the winter before that. As a child I suffered from it alot, as did my mother. So I shouldn’t be SOOOO shocked, but she’s always been my healthy child, other then strep throat. Her recovery time is about 10 days and Alex’s is about 5 days. They said for sanity purposes of me and the family it would be easiest to do them the same day! So they are both scheduled on July 16th at 8:00am and 8:30am… I am so worried. BOTH of my babies in SURGERY the SAME day!!
On another note… I never EVER talk about this hear because I vowed not too, but I wanted to make a little announcement here… I am officially retiring from designing. This decision was HARD to make, but it’s the right one and you know it’s right, when deep down it feels right!! I will still be on my “teams” though!! *wink* Okay that’s all I have for now… I’m hungry!! Off to eat….
Here’s a link for you today… Check out Vegas vacations.

How incrediably sad! George Carlin passed away at the young age of 71. He will be so missed for his raw and incrediable sense of humor. He’s won alot of awards, including 4 Grammy Awards. He recorded 22 comedy albums, wrote 3 best selling books, headlined 14 HBO shows, and hosted hundreds of variety shows. Recently he played the voice of the whitty Volkswagon in the Disney Pixar animation “Cars” and the voice narration of Thomas and Friends. Entertainment tonight was the first to break the news of his death and it was confirmed with more details by Yahoo. He will be missed by so many! May he rest in peace!! We love you Mr. George Carlin!!

Incrediably exhausted and worn out… but we are all home safe and sound!! Mariah got sick on the way home, I am not sure if that was too much car riding, too much junk food, not enough sleep or what… but she’s feeling better now. I am ready to lay down for a nap. Alex is napping. Sparky was SUPER excited to see us and I was VERY excited to see him. I missed him a ton. I have a ton of pictures to go through and I will post some more. I am not going to bog down my blog with 1000′s of photos though so I will post just a few more of my favorites and a link to the album for you to see them all if you so chose! I am so glad to be home. I just have 100′s of emails and 10 loads of laundry and then life can go on to my regularly scheduled programing!! LOL
ETA: I don’t think the subscription went out, but I did post the Vacation Lowdown here. Be sure to read that!

I am not even sure WHERE to begin there has been SO much happening with this vacation!! It’s been an incrediably PACKED filled ride that is for sure!! I am ready for LOTS of relaxation and I think I need the “vacation from my vacation”. LOL There was so much!! Although it was a ton of fun, I am left with only the feeling of EXHAUSTION!! LOL
Day 1 – We didn’t arrive until about 1pm. We left town at about 10am and we took a very scenic route here. It was nice, there was a ton to see, however we didn’t stop for photos *sigh* because we were following my parents. So that was a downside. We stopped for lunch and 1 quick potty break, but otherwise drove straight through. It was a 3 hour drive with the stops… right on the head. Upon arrival we did some mini golf with the kids and headed out for some shopping on the strip. We headed back to the hotel around 7pm for some dinner and the kids played in the pool there.
Day 2 – We left the hotel around 10am and headed to the Upside Down White House. I thought it was incrediably dumb as did all of the adults, but the kids thought it was neat, so I guess… From there we headed to the Deer Park. This was SO fun. The kids got to hand feed deer, goats and pet them!! They had SO much fun and so did all of us! Then we went for a ride on the Original Wisconsin Ducks. That was alot of fun too. The kids LOVED it. I enjoyed it as did everyone else!! Then we headed out for more shopping on the strip. This lead to me getting a tattoo. I got it from Point Blank Tattoo. The guy was SO nice and super cool. He did however try to talk me into getting something to “represent” my uncle rather then the words “In Loving Memory” but I was dead set and I’ve had it decided for a really long time that I wanted those words. He said it’s going to be there forever and it is often hard for people to look at day in and day out. Which I understand, but I never want to forget my uncle and all that he did for me. And it will always hurt that he is gone, no matter what… so I wanted the words. He said I was very set and that nothing was going to change my mind and it was MY body and MY tattoo, and he did it. I LOVE it. I don’t regret it and I never will. This is for my uncle… my memory… While I did that, the kids mined nexted door at the Dell’s Mining Company. No one took pictures for me but they had a blast! Later that night we went to the Wild 4 Hypnosis Comedy Show. It was CRAZY funny!! We actually went to the family show at 7pm and then at 9pm they do an adult show. So my mom said she’d watch the kids and we went back and watched the Adult one!! Good comedy!! They didn’t allow photos. *sigh*
Day 3 – We got up early and headed to the Old Abe’s Portraits and had some old time photos taken. I am SO happy about this. However, I am upset that my brother wasn’t here with us. He chose to stay home at the last minute. So our family photo is missing him! But we have my mom, dad, one brother, my hubby, 2 kiddos and I all dressed in western gangster stuff and we took a photo. It is priceless!! I will post it when I get home and can scan it! *wink* I was happy with it. Then we went ahead and headed on to begin our day. We toured the H.H. Bennett Studio. I loved that. He made the Dells famous, however, it was cool to see the old time photography things, so that was really cool for me! I was so wrapped up in the tour, I forgot to take photos. *doh* Next up was a ride on the Army Ducks. These are similar to the Original WI Ducks, but since the kids liked it so much we thought we’d do it again, without actually doing it again. These were not as fun as Lake Delton was the MAIN path for the Army Ducks. Lake Delton suffered much damage a few weeks ago from a storm. It is now GONE. We did stop and see the Lake and take pictures. Very sad. After the Army Ducks we took a walk and did another round of mini golf. This time at Shipwrecked Lagoon. We pretty much screwed off for all 18 holes and didn’t accomplish much. Good thing we didn’t keep score! It was fun though! We were pretty hot from being in the sun so we headed out for a boat ride on the Wild Thing Jet Boat. We got SOAKED! It was a GREAT time though! Of course I didn’t take the camera because I KNEW we’d get SUPER wet. We headed back to the hotel for some dinner, dry clothes and a little rest. After that we headed to the Rick Wilcox Magic Theater for a show. The kids and everyone LOVED this!! I want to know how it’s all done!! I tell you!! Again, no cameras allowed *sigh*
Day 4 – We headed to Mt Olympus Water and Theme Park ALL day! All day in the sun and water was so much fun. I rode some of the rollercoasters. It was a ton of fun, but I was so freaking! I hate HEIGHTS and one of them has this GIANT drop and then goes into the ground where it’s BLACK and you see nothing for about 15 seconds!! Scary!! The water rides were alot of fun! I went on a tube slide with my mom! At the bottom she FLIPPED the tube and we ended up flipping over and going way under… You are supposed to hit thw water and float down the lazy river!! LOL I told my brother I wasn’t taking her down anymore!! Silly mom!! We went back to the hotel for dinner. After dinner we caught the 8:30pm showing for the Tommy Barlett Show. This was fun to see, however, it was supposed to have a ski show. That part was canceled because it is located on Lake Delton, which as you know (from above) is gone now. So that was sad… but the rest of the show was great. We did have a bit of a DRAMA here!! Here’s the drama… Alex, I and my brother rode in my truck. Hubby stayed at the hotel, he was just beat. Mariah, my mom and my dad took her van. Well Alex opened his door and as he was getting out he slipped… so he grabbed the door. Well it hit the van next to us, mind you very lightly. There was NO mark or nothing. I seen it and stopped it with my hand, but they DID touch. However, the lady got out of her van and started FLIPPING out on me! She told me I was a horrible parent, called me every name in the book, and then said she would KILL her kids if they tried to open the vehicle door. I was like “What?!?!?” He’s 4… not 2… and we were in a parking lot. Apparently it is wrong in this day and age for a 4 year old to open their door. UGH! They wanted my insurance information and everything. They (her husband had joined her at this point to cuss me out) wanted anything they could get their hands on. They said my son was the worst child they had ever seen. By this time my son is crying… he’s sad, he’s sorry…Â I’ve said I was sorry 50 times… but these people don’t care. My dad then comes over and he says to the guy, what do you want. This guy had the nerve to say… “Give me $20 and we will drop it.” You know what… SCREW YOU! Here’s my insurance guy’s name and number. I have 3 adults here that seen it. I took a picture (had my camera hehe) and said… Get bent… my insurance guy is going to laugh in your face!! And he will. I can’t believe the nerve of some people. This was an OLD vehicle. I have a 2008. Not that I am saying everyone should, but there was NOT a SINGLE mark… NOTHING… they were just being anal… Not to ruin my vacation though… we stayed for the show… and then headed to the hotel…
Day 5 – We took the kids for breakfast. Then headed to the Circus World Museum. The kids enjoyed this and they even had a little circus revue for us. It was nice and I took a ton of photos. We were going to head for a little last minute shopping, but instead we decided to head back to the hotel for some R&R. Everyone is so exhausted. We’ve just done so much. I will be so glad to get back tomorrow. I am having a blast on vacation, I really am. But I miss my home, my puppy, and MY BED!!!! I miss my friends too!! Love you girls!!
So all in all, it was a PACKED vacation!! I can’t wait to get home!! Stay safe bloggers!!
